Media World is proud to be supplying production management and animation services for the Logie award-winning children’s animation series, Little J & Big Cuz.
Little J & Big Cuz is Australia’s first long-form animation series featuring contemporary Indigenous Australian characters. Written by a team of First Nations writers from around Australia, the series is directed by Tony Thorne and voiced by a wonderful cast including Deborah Mailman, Miranda Tapsell, Ursula Yovich, Aaron Fa'Aoso and Mark Coles Smith.
The program streams on ABC iview and SBS On Demand, including the fourth series.
The fourth series was commissioned by ABC and NITV and produced by Ned Lander Media and Old Dog Pictures. Little J & Big Cuz is co-produced by Media World Pictures and Blue Rocket Productions and is proudly supported by ACER, Screen Australia, Vicscreen, Screen Tasmania and the Australian Children's Television Foundation.
Select episodes of each series also stream in First Nations languages. The language versions produced so far across the four seasons include episodes in each of the following languages: Arrernte, Pitjantjatjara, Djambarrpuyngu, Walmajarri, Yawuru, palawa kani, Warlpiri, Torres Strait Creole, Djambarrpuyngu, Gija, Noongar, Wiradjuri, Kunwinjku, Roper Kriol, Luritja-Pintupi, Rirratingu-Dhuwaya, Kuku Yalanji and Kalaw Kawaw Ya.
